Daihatsu Cuore L501 Lemon Edition ll

Hello guys, sorry for writing in english, a im from Serbia and I want to present you my Daihatsu Cuore l501.

Old daihatsu is extremely rare in our country, i have one which come with sunroof which is even rarer.

at the beginning of the year I bought it for 500 euros in this condition with a lot of things done on it. The bodywork was repaired, the entire engine was restored.

When I bought it, all I had to do was mostly things related to aesthetics.

I had to paint the whole right side of it, polish the whole car, fix the rims.

The interior has been washed, more aesthetic things are needed, the sky has come off...

next things i need to do is replace the speedometer with rev counter and put a spoiler on the back.
I successfully purchased both items despite the fact that parts are extremely difficult to find

the body of the car is completely fixed. The engine is also opened and completely repaired. The front and rear brakes were changed, the front gear was repaired, and the oil in the gearbox was replaced.

the clutch set was replaced, the brake caliper was overhauled, the rear shock absorbers were replaced.

mechanically, almost everything has been replaced.

I dont know how to safe remove spoiler from another door, can you help me?

Hello and very welcome - Rajko !

First : Because of removing the rearspoiler from the other decklid - there are only two little screws - on the right and on the left foot of the spoiler - at all four feets there is double sided tape to hold the spoiler .

After removing the screws - you can (carefuly !!!) use heat - maybe a hairdryer, that helps to solve the spoiler - or, you can use a piece of welding wire to cut of the double sided tape underneath the spoiler .

So - it´s realy no bigger problem to remove this .

Second : What a lot of work, that goes into your "Lemon" - I know about all that welding work, to fix the rusty body of an old Daihatsu ... well done !

I realy love yellow colored cars - and good to hear you also have rebuild the whole technical part of the car - I think, the Cuore will stay alive for a long time, now .

We looking forward, to hear and see much more of the Cuore rebirth !

The car is newly registered, passed the technical test without any complaints.

Speedometer installed, as far as the external appearance is concerned, all that remains is to install a spoiler for the trunk door.
