It's a pity that I do not have the operating Manual of my L251.

If I remember correctly, in the technical data section it had data for the EJ-DE engine too. I always wondered why. Now I finally know.

I remember that it had different spark Plugs for the different engine types.

I'm not sure if the timing belt is different too. Possibly, because the VVT device sits directly at the camshaft wheel (EJ-VE only, of course). But if the camshaft wheels are the same size, then even the timing Belt is the same for the two engine types.

If I compare the two Engines on part suppliers online, then I come to the end, that the timing belt is the same.
