Hi

Im. sorry but my written German is very bad So I'll write in English.

I've bought a GTti in 2009 it was a mess. I've changed thebodyshell and repaired the faults. Added some extras like custom downpipe and full stainlees steel exhaust, some gauges and BOV
Currently the car makes 102,5PS on the dyno byt the AFR is about 14 so it needs to be reduced.

I heve a problem now. My turbo boosts too much (0.9bar) instead of 0.6-0.7 I've done nothing to the ECU, so I dont know where is the problem. I chnged the solenoid but still nothing. When driving normaly the boost is about 0,5 but when i "push the pedal to the metal" it jumps to 0,9 - its not healthy for the engine. Where is the problem?

hi, your problem is your downpipe !!

To correct your problem, you have to change the Wastegate...

Maybe you can make the hole much bigger or change the pressur tin(Wastegate-Actuator).

jepp. and the exhaust... if the diameter is bigger than original one

I've made the complete exhaust on the basis of Camskill inventions. What is wrong with that?

I don't think that that's the case.

I was thinking more about the solenoid or waste gate...

less restrictive exhaust> more boost !!!

I wasn't expecting that much boost from this modification. :)

Anyway I will try to bore the wastegate a bit. Maybe this will help.

It's been a while :)

The car is currently being painted (NH -0 from Honda Integra) -big premiere next week:)
Ive added adjustable coil-overs at the front (from Golf 3er)
Changed some rubber parts in the suspension to polyurethane
I also mounted a turbo-timer and rear strut brace (needs to be re-done)
