Dash Board Deassemble

Hi,

I have the Appi II and 2 days ago light on my tacho broke, kmh gauge. Now i just have light on the rpm gauge and heat gauge. Which bulbs go in tacho, and how do i deassemble it. I tried but front plastics(fake wood) hits steering wheel and i cant get it off. Does someone know.Sorry because i write in english but i dont have where to ask.

Thanks in advance, Marko from Serbia

@kamango: I tried to translate your Questions. Not word by word, but by sense, it should fit... hope you'll get help sooner, cause not everybody in here speaks English.

you ne som 12v 3w glassockel blubs . to change tem you have to unlocked the screw früm teh stearing wheel to put it down. and than you can take the dashboard around the tacho away

martin j 20.02.2010 19:44

@ martin j: Ich werd dann mal versuchen, post #3 in lesbares Englisch zu bringen... Hoffe, Du reisst mir deshalb nicht den Kopf ab... Aber mein Fernseh-Programm beginnt erst 20.15h, habe also Zeit dazu.

@kamago: Here is what came out as an answer from martin j (post #3):

You need a glass socket bulb 12V, 3W. I added a link in post #4, which was confirmed to show the right type of bulb. (thanks to google picture search.)

To change the bulb, you need to take off the steering wheel. There is a Screw... Then it shouldn't be a great problem to take off the dashboard around the tacho to change the bulb.

Welcome to our Forum Kamango,
I hope you'll be successfull tomorrow :)
maybe you can present your car here we don't have such a large number of Applause 2 represented here

kamango 20.02.2010 21:02

I will surely :).

Ill just wait for better weather so i can take good photos. I dont know about Germany but in Serbia there just around 4 Appis II. I have some difficulties finding parts but its worth it .

kamango 21.02.2010 00:31

I didnt explain correct. When i want to remove plastics it hits part before steering wheel(on picture). I just went to car and i couldnt find any screw that could lower it down. There are 6 screws to remove plastic, should i look there. Thanks again
