Changing the El. Window Controler

The drivers controler for controling electric windows has broken down. I own a 1998 Applause, so my question would be. Can i put the 1990s Applause controler. Acctualy is the jack for controler the same with the one in 1998? Can i plug it to my daihatsu with out rewireing.

I can find anywhere parts for my Daihatsu in Serbia so i have to use ones from the older Daihatsu. I have to order it from another town so i dont if it will fit.

No, the 1990s Applause controler doesn't fit at the 1998s, because the wiring ist not the same. But some user in this forum convertet the controler from the 1990s to use it in the newer Model. I think they can help you.

Man thank u very much. If i understood corectly, i sholud look at this picture and change the 4 wires that are putten differently.

No that isn't correct. The two Plugs on the picture shows only the difference between a right-hand drive vehicle and a left-hand drive vehicle at the newer Applause Model.

On the second picture of the thread can you see te wiring of the older Model.

1 = front right up
2 = front left up
5 = back right up
6 = back left up
7 = front right down
8 = front left down
9 = 12 V+
10 = 12V -
11 = back right down
12 = back left down

On picture 5 of the thread you can see the wiring of the newer model. If you have a right-hand drive vehicle, you need the upper plug, if you have a left hand drive, you need the plug below.

P23 + P24 = driver's side up + down
P37 + P38 = back left up + down
P32 + P33 = back right up + down
P27 + P28 = passenger side up + down
P22 = 12V+
Z61 = 12V-

I bought a new controler but it broke again. Window lock was on so now i cant move any window. Which wire is responsible for all others. Last time i couldnt move windows from drivers switches but i could on its own switches. Now i cant move it anyway.
