17" rims with 205/40 tires

I have found this rims called RIAL VE or RIAL VIPER E with this specifications: 7.5Jx17 ET35.
The tires will be 205/40 R17. Only this dimension is admitted due to limitations in my country

hi die felgen sind sehr schick!! würde allerdings an deiner stelle garnicht erst über 17 zöller nachdenken,sonder direkt nach den 18 zöller gucken. habe selbst 17 zöller bin auch sehr zufrieden damit wusste aber damals nicht das die 18 zöller so ohne probleme passen. jetzt weiss ich´s und ärgere mich etwas!! bei dir ist noch alles offen, also nimm die 18 zöller

also, ich habe 215/35 R17 bereifung auf einer 7x17 zoll felge "Dotz Las Vegas dark" einpresstiefe 38, bei einer 30er eibach tiefelegung...

geht also ohne probleme...

ET from 30-40 is ok - width of the rim schould be 7.5J max (I guess 8J might suit, too).
With those dimensions and 205 wide tyres lowering the Materia by 30-40mm is no problem.
And: You won't have to modify your wheel housings then.
