I have Daihatsu Sirion without AUX jack. But female connector is present under panel. I built the adapter connector to 3.5mm jack using this circuit, but unfortunately it doesn't work:( External player is visible only in if GND and AUXI pins are connected.
Are you sure, that this circuit coincide with original connector shown by
321? It is not clear from the pictures of original connector, that Left channel is connected with AUXI through 3.3 kOhm resistance.
